Core training is a lot more than just crunches. You might think that a core class only targets the abdominals. However, your core includes your torso and down to your hips. These muscles work better when you exercise them with functional training. Functional core training is about stabilization, strength and power. Functional core exercises allow you to practice movement that provides optimal motion for daily tasks. 
Examples of functional core exercises:
• Side plank
• Push-ups
• Walking lunges
• Mountain climbers
• Squat jumps

Classes are taught by a NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Class Schedule: November 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th and 21st
December 3rd, 5th, 10th, 12th, 17th and 19th
Tuesday and Thursday evenings

6:30pm - 7:00pm
12 classes for $40.00 or $5.00 drop in fee
Classes are held at the Community Building in uptown Denison

All fitness levels welcome. Fit to the Core is for anybody who wants to strengthen their core in a group exercise setting (all exercises can be modified).
